Nabaloum Boureima, Director General del Programa Nacional de Voluntariado de Burkina Faso (PNVB) explica el papel que desempe\u00f1an las personas voluntarias, en particular las mujeres, en el desarrollo de Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n

El papel del voluntariado en el desarrollo de Burkina Faso<\/strong><\/h5>\n

El voluntariado es una actividad con una larga historia en Burkina Faso, gracias a una herencia arraigada en la solidaridad y la ayuda mutua. As\u00ed lo reflejan sus pr\u00e1cticas tradicionales y modernas de voluntariado y compromiso c\u00edvico.Sobre esta base, el PNVB, desde su creaci\u00f3n como entidad p\u00fablica en 2008, ha movilizado a trav\u00e9s de sus programas a m\u00e1s de 48.000 voluntarios y voluntarias nacionales, la mayor\u00eda de los cuales son mujeres j\u00f3venes y ni\u00f1as. Los voluntarios y voluntarias prestan apoyo en varias esferas prioritarias, entre ellas la salud, la descentralizaci\u00f3n y la educaci\u00f3n. Como parte de los esfuerzos para frenar la propagaci\u00f3n de la COVID-19 en 2020, 14.172 voluntarios y voluntarias prestaron servicios a m\u00e1s de 7 millones de personas. Adem\u00e1s de los voluntarios y voluntarias nacionales movilizados por el PNVB, se han llevado a cabo otras iniciativas de voluntariado en las 13 regiones del pa\u00eds, entre ellas el programa de Voluntarios Auxiliares de Seguridad (Volontaires Adjoints de Securit\u00e9, VADS) que, desde 2013, ha movilizado a m\u00e1s de 10.000 voluntarios y voluntarias, de los cuales el 35% son mujeres. Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 la Brigada Verde, la cual cuenta con m\u00e1s de 3.000 mujeres voluntarias que, en los \u00faltimos 22 a\u00f1os, han contribuido a mejorar el saneamiento urbano y han garantizado un entorno de vida saludable.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
