volontariat au Burkina Faso (PNVB) explique le r\u00f4le jou\u00e9 par les volontaires, et en particulier par les femmes, dans le d\u00e9veloppement du Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Le r\u00f4le des volontaires dans le d\u00e9veloppement du Burkina Faso<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Le volontariat est une pratique r\u00e9pandue depuis longtemps au Burkina Faso du fait d\u2019une tradition de solidarit\u00e9 et d\u2019entraide, et cela transpara\u00eet dans les pratiques traditionnelles et contemporaines de volontariat et d\u2019engagement civique. Depuis sa cr\u00e9ation en 2008, le PNVB, qui est une entit\u00e9 publique, a ainsi mobilis\u00e9 dans le cadre de ses programmes plus de 48 000 volontaires nationaux, dont une majorit\u00e9 de jeunes femmes et de filles. Les volontaires mettent leurs comp\u00e9tences au service de plusieurs domaines prioritaires, notamment la sant\u00e9, la d\u00e9centralisation et l\u2019\u00e9ducation. En 2020, 14 172 volontaires sont venus en aide \u00e0 plus de 7 millions de personnes dans le cadre des efforts visant \u00e0 contenir la propagation de la COVID-19. Outre l\u2019action du PNVB, d\u2019autres initiatives de volontariat ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises en \u0153uvre dans les 13 r\u00e9gions du pays. Le programme des Volontaires adjoints de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 (VADS), par exemple, a mobilis\u00e9 depuis 2013 plus de 10 000 volontaires, dont 35 % de femmes. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, la Brigade verte compte plus de 3 000 femmes volontaires qui contribuent depuis 22 ans \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019assainissement urbain et \u00e0 rendre l\u2019environnement
